When Atlantic Northeast started, I wasn’t sure that we’d get one issue out, which is why I am thrilled to present to you our third. It is the one-year anniversary of the magazine, and we’ve come a long way since the beginning. Our following has grown and more people are reading and enjoying the work in issues one and two. For this issue, we got a record number of submissions, making it harder to choose which pieces to include, and also giving us the opportunity to showcase some really great work.
We’ve got fiction from Nadja Maril and M. Steven Neal, non-fiction from Dalia Wolfson, Nicole Brownstein, Peter Berkowitz, and Teresa Tumminello Brader, and photography and art from Neil Kehler, Hannah Dutton, and Angela Townsend. Each contributor has their own voice and story to tell, and I think you’ll really enjoy the journey that each piece takes you on.
Thank you all for your support over the past year, thank you to everyone who has submitted work for consideration, and thanks especially to all of our contributors. You really make Atlantic Northeast what it is. I’m looking forward to 2024 and the many more issues to come!
